A delectable black tea, produced similar to other black teas, but with the extra step of tightly rolling the leaves into snail-like shapes. The tea features a rich, fruit-nectar aroma and will entice your senses. A delicious tea with amazing bright orange liquor excellent on its own, but also very enjoyable with milk. This makes a perfect early afternoon tea.
Ingredients: Black tea from the Guangxi Bai Hao species
Steeping Instructions: use about one teaspoon of leaves for every 8 fl oz 212°F/100°C water; steep for ~3-5 minutes.
About the tea: The Yaming Bai Hao tea garden covers a total area of around 1,000 mu of mountainous terrain between 500 and 1200m above sea level. This garden is fully surrounded by woods, and clouds and mist often shroud it throughout dawn and night, helping to prevent the harmful effects of UV rays on the tea plants growing here. To further ensure quality, chemical pesticides and fertilizers are strictly forbidden; the tea garden earned its organic authorization in 2015.
Suggestion(s): Milk and sugar are not needed, but can be added to taste.
Per 2 oz tea, you get approximately 20-25 cups of tea.
