Steeping Instructions: use one teaspoon of leaves with for every 8 fl oz of 70-80ºC/ 158-176ºF. water; steep for ~3 minutes*. (Recommendation: Steep for 1 minutes (mild flavor) and taste. If desired continue steeping.)
About the tea: This tea has a very distinctive shape: smooth and perfectly flattened along the inside vein of the leaf, the result of highly skilled shaping in a hot wok. This process, known as pan-firing or pan-frying, was perfected in China by tea master over the centuries and gives the tea an inviting, toasty aroma. Contains caffeine.
