Black currant flavored black tea offers a smooth and slightly sweet-trending aroma with a fragrant floral aroma. Keemun as the bases for this tea works well with the distinct flavor of the slightly tart black currant flavor. Black currants are called Cassis in Switzerland and are especially high in vitamin C.
Ingredients: Organic Keemun F.O.P., organic natural flavor.
Steeping Instructions: use one teaspoon of leaves for every 8 fl oz 212°F/100°C water; steep for 3-7 minutes.
About the tea: Flowery Orange Pekoe (F.O.P.) refers to a high quality whole leaf tea with a long leaf and good balance of tips. FOP contains fine, tender young leaves with buds (referred to as tips) and is made from the first two leaves and bud of the shoot. When harvested during the slow growth periods, these young buds have a golden tip, hence the grade 'Flowery', thus making it Flowery Orange Pekoe (FOP). Contains caffeine.
